Happy Sunday! Our JES Boosterthon event has been extended through this week due to having so much sickness last week. We hope everyone is feeling better and want to say THANK YOU for your continued support! The money raised goes to support the cost of our yearly JES events for students & families. A few special reminders about this week's events: 2027 Washington DC Interest meeting for all CURRENT 4th grade families ; Class Pictures & PreK/5th Grade Graduation picture day ; Boosterthon Glow Dance Party on Friday for Students. Have a great evening! PS - Bundle up in the morning! Brrrrrrr.....

4th and 5th-grade students are invited to tryout for Scholar's Bowl this Thursday after school. Information/Permission forms were sent home last week. Contact Haleigh.Britt@lcsk12.org with questions.
All LCS will operate on a 2 hour delay tomorrow, Tuesday, January 27, 2026.
Due to potential hazardous travel conditions and extremely cold temperatures, Limestone County Schools will be closed Monday, January 26. We will continue to monitor conditions and will provide another update on Monday. Please stay safe and stay warm.
Reminder: After school tutoring resumes tomorrow, Tuesday, January 20th for those who were invited and completed the necessary paperwork from 3-4:00pm.

Attention Parents of Students in 3-5th Grades: Your students will be bringing home info regarding the Spelling Bee. We will hold class Spelling Bees on Thursday and the final round on Friday. The winner of the final round will represent JES at the district-wide Spelling Bee (more info to come). We would like all students to participate in the class spelling bee.
